Who We Are
We believe that it is not enough for impactful medicines to exist. They need to be broadly accessible to be truly valuable. The company was founded to deliver high quality, innovative medicines around the world faster and more accessibly and affordably than previously. We aspire to lead by example in becoming a truly transformational global biotech company. Our organization is built by design to work differently, combining the strengths of a global organization with deep experience and expertise in research and clinical development in China, and end-to-end internal capabilities from discovery through commercialization.
Cancer Has No Borders.
Neither Do We.
Empowering People
Commitment to Our Colleagues
We are fortunate to attract the industry’s top talent, professionals who are motivated by our vision to transform the biotechnology industry, bringing innovative medicines to far more patients around the world.
A large part of our success lies in our ability to work seamlessly across borders. Our global operating model allows us to recruit top medical and business professionals regardless of their location. This model fosters a culture of mutual respect and understanding, as our colleagues from various backgrounds and geographies work together towards a common goal. Since cancer doesn’t recognize borders — neither do we.
Just as our colleagues work to improve global health and well-being, we too strive to provide an engaging and rewarding workplace — one that supports colleague and offers ample opportunities for professional growth. We want our colleagues to feel empowered to contribute to our mission, not only helping our patients but also making a lasting positive impact on the world.
In Recognition of Excellence
Engagement and Development
Our colleagues are excited by their work, and we strive to cultivate a vibrant workplace culture that builds upon this enthusiasm, encouraging bold innovation. Equally important is supporting our colleagues’ personal well-being. By providing engaging professional opportunities and taking a holistic view of well-being — one that considers financial, physical, and social-emotional health — we are working to build a culture in which our colleagues can realize both professional and personal fulfillment.
A Culture of Belonging
As a global organization composed of employees of various backgrounds and cultures, we understand that the sharing of diverse ideas and perspectives spurs greater innovation and enhances our ability to deliver results. We celebrate these differences and encourage colleagues to share their voices and perspectives to foster a culture of understanding and mutual respect. We also prohibit discrimination or harassment in the workplace on the grounds of gender, ethnicity, race, disability, age, religious belief, sexual orientation, nationality, or family status.
In 2020, we formed the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Awareness (IDEA) Council to provide a forum for employees to explore issues of diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and belonging. The council has helped advance our DEI strategy in three areas: leadership culture; recruitment and retention; and metrics and infrastructure. Introduced first in the U.S., the IDEA Council is now global, with members in Canada, Europe and China.
2022 Goal: Develop a three-year global strategy to improve DEI across the company
